Friends to walk behind!
Well I don't NEED any Friends!
Friends to WARP My MINDDD!!!

Unsure of his purpose on this crazy planet, Derek Wright (in 5th Grade at the time) attempted to become “hip” by composing a song entitled “Friends.” The outcome? A 40-meter long string of complete meaninglessness. Fueled by nothing but the desire to try and be “cool,” Derek created what many people all around the world consider to be the most heroic accomplishment in songwriting history.

Even though Derek did have a couple of friends at the time, (a stuffed animal, a pencil sharpener) he decided to ignore that fact and imagine what it would possibly be like without blue, electronic pencil sharpeners. With a simple, yet bold and powerful riff, and an unprofessional and down-right annoying guitar solo, “Friends” was the most worthy result Derek’s undersized brain could come up with.

Because there are 3 or 4 people in the world that can acually tolerate "Friends," Derek figures that the 3 minutes it took to write the song were well spent.

* “Friends,” can't really be compared to any kind of music out there, but Derek was inspired by punk rock/alternative (especially Green Day!) at the time he composed this masterpiece of unpredictable art. *
